increased placement hitboxes when they were meant to be reduced?

My guess is when you try to reduce the building radius of buildings, there is the possibility of the buildings becoming too close and forming a wall. To manage the distance between a big building, like a Pig House, and a small building, like a Sign, the average of their building radius is used. This leads to the smaller building having a bigger building radius when placing beside the Pig House. An advantage of this change is that building placement is now sequence independent. You can now place the smaller building first without it blocking the placement of bigger building.

The disadvantage of this computation though, is that for some 'buildings', like chest and sapling, which does not really block, are also forced to be further away from bigger buildings.
