Intrepidpioneer Posted July 16, 2024 Share Posted July 16, 2024 After some playing with winona, I feel infinite energy with the shard is placed prematurely. I only need one point to get the infinity shard, but two points for the finite brilliance. I've been doing a lot of sailing and treasure hunting and amassed a metric crap ton of gems since they grow on the rock trees for free. I capitalized on Winona's energy saver tree so I really already have infinite energy with regular gems. Now it seems kinda wasteful to use the infinity shard as fuel, I'd rather allocate the extra point in something else than the infinity shard, but I want to use brilliance as fuel too since I farm so much of it with merms. I guess I just wish their places in the tree was switched, and it costed two points of investment to get the infinity shard (so I can go without) much like how nightmare fuel can upgrade to pure horror instead of pure horror being on the first rung.
