pether
I love new critter that brings more application to the shearing station. Floxes are quite cute and fit the theme of winter DLC However, their animation look rather stiff... Their tail looks like something that should wiggle all the time, even when the creature is idle. Nothing like that happens, it's not moving neither when the creature is moving nor when it is standing still. It looks unnatural and somewhat a little fake... I would love those animations to be improved, thanks! Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/158079-floxes-look-really-stiff/ Share on other sites
JDL
Yeah, the flox animation isn't up to the standard of most other critters yet. Compare to dreckos, who have segmented mid-sections that flex and compress. Or pips, who are stiff like floxs, but have a much more exaggerated range of movement to compensate. Personally, I think the eye size of the flox isn't helping. Most other critters have fairly exaggerated eyes to increase cuteness, with the flox eyes fairly small by comparison. Hopefully this is just the beta art at work, and it'll get another pass in the future.
