Because Mercury has such low SHC and such a low melting temperatures, it's actually simple to do semi-automatically with mercury steam turbines! Each steam turbine melted this way converts 200kg of plastic into 200kg of mercury. If you have an itch for feeding way too many plug slugs or you just really really like mercury, this is a cool way to get more using oni alchemy.
