Is New Crab king way too easy in multiplayer?

Dunno. Never played multiplayer much because the lag is too much.

If there was a way to fix it then maybe I'd actually try it.

If you actually went in blind to the new crab king you guys would of had a much much harder time, instead you guys cheated the fight by knowing what the easiest gem colour is.

Try slotting 2 of each different gem colour and repeat for the challenge.

 I don't get why you say this for Don't starve Together which is known for being cryptic. Im also gonna know what the best gem combination is because i played the beta. One gem combination shouldnt make it super easy either.

Nobody has beaten this game blind, everything is really cryptic. Self imposed challenge is not the solution either.

I believe people should respond to the problem with something other than "More players = easier boss". I dont find it constructive.

4 players making a raid boss which are a type of boss designed for multiplayer a slice of bread is different than every other raidboss where it still requires a lot of challenge. Compare it to a boss like werepig which has a similar healthpool.

I would like the orange gems to be changed, his taunt be shorter with more players, and maybe a few other things to try make the fight better.

that's just sad, there're 7 types of gems and 9 slots so you can't put 7 * 2 = 14 gems into it, did you even see CK?

While I could be wrong, I fail to see how Crab King, specifically, is any easier than any other boss on multiplayer. Almost all of them are incredibly easy with a few people. Unless Crab King solo is too easy compared to raid bosses, I fail to see how this specifically is an issue. 

While new CC can definitely be improved, I don't wanna see revisionism on how the old one was so good. Old CC was an incredibly contentious and controversial fight that no one wanted to do the intended way. I think there needs to be more ways to counter crab king and more ways for crab king to counter you. Gems could have more diversity and more interactions overall could improve the fight.

The main argument this is better:

Any reduction of challenge or time to Pearl's task, moon storms and Crab King is positive, because they are requirements for CC, and are generally ass

 

All 3 imo are boring and longwinded content, while CC and post-CC content is fun

I would rather fight any boss in the game than the boss of excel tracking and scheduling Pearl tasks

I find Pearl tasks to be one of the hardest challenges in the game, am I alone in this?

There is so much to optimize my brain hurts, and it still takes forever, feels like a job

Pearl's tasks should've been optional content, not requirements for the final boss.
