I’m confused about the nature of the alignments

So I was under the impression that the  two sides are supposed to mirror each other  If that’s not the case fine but don’t tease us with something that looks like it’ll be equivalent to one another and then go and completely different directions. Also, the alignment should be equal you can be equal but different but still equal 

And I get sometimes they are mirror each other and sometimes they aren’t but in each case commit to one don’t try to have your cake and eat it too and it makes it hard to understand what your intentions with these groups are and the cool mysterious way for goodness sake keep it equal so people choosing what they want less about this offers them more and more about this is the play style They wanna do.

examples of unevenness:

having an infinite fuel source in a enlightened shards but not having it infinite fuel source for the shadow side like you could just replace enlightened shards with infused shards and how would be the nightmare fuel equivalent(and I know I can burn out, but that’s still nowhere near equal to  finite fuel)

I feel why would you need the naming and glasses so similar if you were going to go them completely different powers

also, if you establish Winona can go both way to an extent on the alignments and are receiving add from you’re loving sister why does she only not attack you when you on the last skill, I feel like Wagstaff could explain to her that they aren’t necessarily enemies like he’s only taking power from altar not working for altar but then again I saw this theory video that is true makes me question the misunderstanding motive, the one hand I could see the reason why she still attacks, shower aligned survivors due to the constant rate of death and coming back to life being canon too the game makes me think that the lack of finality of death has made it lose it to meaning in her eyes so her killing them could just be her Screwing with them, but all in good fun but then that also makes the question if that is the motive which is definitely not confirmed that’s just my head theory Why would she stop killing her sister at all ? anyway I got bit off-topic there back to the lack of equalness

shadow alignment brings merms back to life while lunar alignment just alters their living form when they could easily either make it so a merms possesses their own body once becoming a gestalt merm upon death Or they could replace shadow merms with corrupted merms they give nightmare fuel too like you give moon glass(which should be infused shards) to Merms for the lunar alignment with corrupted merm guards looking like wurts triumphant skin

Lunar Mudslinger should spawn a lunar equivalent of Shadow tentacles or something equally as powerful as that instead of just a field of lunacy

Willow can’t use lunar fire raiser on beefalo but can with shadow fire raiser

Wilson has an unequal number of crafts for his lunar side, then a shadow side

Of course, the Rest of the players and I Have some problems with the other aspects of the game, but this is focusing on the state of alignments
