Wurt should't be merms murder!!

It's so cruel that Wurt players make mermwarriors war and pick up fish to trade with merm king. Even Wurt beats merm king for 4 merm warriors.Omg！！they are same kind，or friends.Please make merms drop fish meat not live fish,T_T.

This would cause a issue the fish doesn't come from the merm's body it's the pet they are carrying as all merms keep pet fish having them drop fish meat would lead to the implication that merms are eating the fish rather than them being pets.

I thought the merm's body was made up of meat and frog legs, and the fish the player gave them was their pet.

funny enough I was convinced when a merm got killed their legs got cut off [froggy legs drop], while the rest of them could technically live on so they dropped a "fish" in the sense of merm without the frog legs = aquatic only fish merm. I also assumed the merms would then die due to suffocation [I assumed they were using their frog parts to breath through their skin and their fish parts to have gills] and due to being trapped on dry land without their froggy legs. I only thought of the fish drops as pets once someone in this forum mentioned it here. [while still keeping the idea of merms only dying because their froggy parts got torn off]

Maybe you don’t think things through before suggesting them but Wurt players will gain sanity from holding onto a living pet fish, however these can and do begin to spoil over time, Wurt hiring Merms to follow and work for her if that Merm Dies gives Wurt a way to replace her spoiling fish pet with a fresher one.

And before you say sanity isn’t an issue get good noob, there are a lot of people (myself included) who sometimes struggle maintaining sanity.

For Wurt one Pet Fish and a Top Hat = she can live in a cave unbothered by sanity drain.

And since I can’t carry my pet fish and drop it over into a lake or the ocean to renew its spoil timer, collecting them from my fallen comrades is the next best thing.

- Unique ocean fish trades for merm king so fishing as wurt is more fun

People are referencing getting fish to grow the empire, not for holding them.

That would go against the lore of merms keeping all fish as pets.
