CK: add geysers to the claws phase

I think that adding the geyser atack during the phase that CK spawn claws would make the fight more dynamic and would make the player row and interact more with claws and turrets 

Also CK feels so passive and static,  this way he will look like he is doing something

Old CK was casting about every 10 seconds.

Also, probably the main reason CK got reworked, is his geysers in other words, he is hated for that and surely they wont repeat this mistake

Kinda difficult to row when the claws hold you in place.

But sure, you can get around that.The real problem was the healing phase anyway.

But going back to topic, for the love of god don't add the geyser attack back please. If you want your boat to be punctured, use red gems.

you could've got a few bees or timed own attacks to cancel heal even when pearled

I want the game to be challenging and dynamic.  If you want a stationary mob that does nothing go fight brightshades

Is so boring to see how CK stand still and do nothing while you smack him while also is sad to see how they removed one of the coolest atacks in the game

Adding it, now that claws dont grab your boat, will make the fight funnier.  Well, funnier unless you want easy stationary and passive stuff in videogames

Old Crab King literally did nothing either. All he did was freeze, sink your boat with spell and sink your boat with claws. And heal, of course.

Might I add it only froze you if you used the pearl of blue gems, so technically that was optional, too.

If you want this fight to be challenging and dynamic, you can customize it to be challenging and dynamic. With most gem combinations, you definitely can't afford to just stand still and smack the boss mindlessly.

Also, don't most bosses just stand still, too? Even the ones that can move around, people usually kite them so the boss won't move around too much.

Bees or followers sure, but animation canceling is kind of a high level skill that the game doesn't naturally teach you, and I don't think Klei should create a boss fight expecting people to use it.

Bees or followers sure, but animation canceling is kind of a high level skill that the game doesn't naturally teach you, and I don't think Klei should create a boss fight expecting people to use it.

you need to start holding F at the right time to sync own attacks with hral cancel windows, it's harder if you try to anim cancel

that's much more in comparison to staring and healing

He casted spells not just staring at you like he has some kind of cognitive problem. And the fight was already lame before, i dont why you bring it to the discussion other than you dont have any point to defend that you want a bland boss fight design

No matter what gems you use this doesnt change... and doesnt change the fact that klei removed the best part of the fight. Kitting the geyser rowing was the funnier thing this fight had and now is removed

My point that I defend is that I enjoy this version of the boss very very much and I don't want it to be changed :) To me it's a fun game of tower defense.

But I respect that you don't like it. You don't have to. I'm sure there are aspects of the game that you enjoy and I don't, and that's fine.

And i think they did a great job making this fight funnier except for the point of removing geyser spells. That was a true boat fighting mechanic instead of what we currently have (even if funnier than the previous CK)

no. ck got reworked bc the WHOLE problem lies in the claws being too tanky and stopped you from being able to move around. they made boat movement fantastic in the waterlogged update, but its not good when movement = 0 the moment 1 claw clamps on, and then thats like a whole boat gone (if you wanted to use grass raft thats fine but in phase 2 he can heal while you have to deal with claws so it doesnt negate the problem)

now that the claws attack the player instead, you can move the boat to dodge geysers. it would definitely make the fight more interesting and have some more risk
