After activating the Shadow Rifts, if you were to use Pure Horror on the Moon Stone, it would begin emanating shadows. Taking a Star Caller’s Staff, and putting it on the stone on a New Moon, when Altar’s influence is at it’s weakest, it would start a new event called the Void Caller. Similar to the Moon Caller event, the goal is to power up the Star Caller Staff to transform it. Instead of defending it, though, Shadow Creatures would break out from the Moonstone statues that surround the Moon Stone, and other Shadow creatures would also spawn off screen. Your goal is to kill enough shadow creatures in a sort of enemy rush, and you must do this before the time turns to day.

Killing the shadow creatures, one by one, darkness slowly starts to envelop the Star Caller’s Staff. The shadow creatures disappear, and out from the darkness, the Void Caller’s Staff reveals itself to you.

The Void Caller’s staff would only have 5-10, maybe 15 uses, much less than the Star Caller. This is made fair, by the fact that the Void Caller’s Staff summons a BLACK HOLE!

A miniature one, but still a Black Hole. It would last for about 2 minutes, and suck in enemies and items, meaning that any mob killed by the Black Hole would not drop anything, as the drops are sucked in.

So, what else can it do? Well…

Getting a Moon Caller’s staff and summoning a Polar Light, you would now have about 30 seconds to GET THE HECK OUT OF THERE!

The Black Hole and Polar Light would start to orbit each other. Spiraling faster and faster until they collide with each other, causing a Supernova to happen in a large area. Any structure in the area is annihilated, and any mobs or players in the area would receive a whopping 4000 damage. Enough to kill a Deerclops.

The drops from mobs won’t be obliterated in the blast, so this would be a fun way of finishing off a boss. A thing to note, though: The area of the Supernova would deal 4000 damage, regardless of how far you are from it. It doesn’t matter how safe you think you are, If you are in it’s radius of blast, YOU WILL DIE!

Your character will do a custom animation, too. The same one they do when going through the Celestial Portal. Bright light would blind the screen, followed by the sound of the blast, and the light would go away, with your character now a ghost, and a burned skeleton left behind.

Other players on the server would be made aware of the Supernova, as it would make the same bright effect as the Lunar Rifts appearing.

If you were to use the Deconstruction Staff on the Void Caller’s Staff, you would obtain a Coalescent Gem. I can’t think of anything specific it would do, besides some effect on Crab King.

Not only would it have the same effect as the Iridescent Gem, boosting all of Crab King’s gem stats by 1, but also give Crab King Shadow Affinity. This would reward players with Lunar Affinity with a small damage bonus, for going through the effort of getting the Coalescent Gem. The same thing would also happen with the Iridescent Gem, but grant Crab King Lunar Affinity instead, for players with Shadow Affinity.

Due to this Affinity effect, only one of each can be put in Crab King. And if both are inserted, the Gems would negate each other’s effect, effectively giving Crab King no stat boosts, while also wasting two of his precious slots.

Leave a reply, and tell me what you guys think of this!
