New Winona Structures:

Recommended Posts

I think some of Winona's generic (not charlie/wagstaff aligned) skills should be dedicated towards the introduction of newer structures that help automate things that aren't currently automated, and non-intrusive, if not supportive to other characters perks and playstyles. I think to start off, a sprinkler system that can make nearby players/structures/items/mobs wet, which would make Wurt becoming wet, potentially mid fight, easier, and assisting Wormwood in managing plants. That's one idea, and I'd like to hear if y'als agree/what else y'alls would recommend/want

you really want a sprinkler dont you, well since Winopult skill tree is full of catapults perks why not a perk to make catapults of water ballons? that way you can use those cataputs to water the crops in large areas in less than a sec. A semi automatic way to water crops! I still think that different gems in gemerators should give different buff to catapults but we will see.

I'd LOVE sprinklers

let them be plantable like hound traps, and make mobs unable to break them, would be epic I think

if you love them then what would you think about klei adding the sprinkler of DS Hamlet?

i like the design of that sprinkler :D

An automation update should not be tied to just winona, it should be endgame items for all characters.

Stuff like:

- conveyors

- auto crafting

- crafting limits

- pullers/putters inside chests from conveyors

That should be more of an endgame update, how modded minecraft does it.

I think there is a law that the longer a survival genre game goes on in live development, the closer to 100% the chance for an automation update reaches.

The Winbot thing could roll around as a sprinkler system lol.

But I got to admit I’m a bit disappointed in her skill tree, the majority of it is all about her Catapults and just.. Bleh, She’s like almost Walter at that point if their best skills are different types of ammo & speeds to their Slingshots & Catapults.

I saw someone wanting a huge industrial fan (provides cooling effect since spotlights give off heat) it could double down as a Air boat (the kind powered by large fan on the back)

Give her her signature red toolbox, (4 slot storage) let it be like Wilson’s Beard hair storage but let her spawn into the world with the toolbox carrying 4 Froggle burnwhich sandwhiches (like Wigfrid spawns with some meats) only her structures and sandwhiches can be placed in the toolbox.

Theres some scrapped Electronical spiders deep within Klei’s unused assets art files, probably bringing those back as something she can craft for Webber would be pretty cool (like electronic armor she can upgrade his spiders with.. well all spiders except the water gliding ones of course!)

Lastly- she is canonly seen in an animated short performing open heart surgery on WX78, as if she had been working with building them in Wagstaffs factory and was familiar with the circuits and wiring and such.. its a shame that she could not upgrade a WX78, maybe even helping reduce WX’s “rain damage” downside?

Idk.. I just feel like Klei focused too heavily on catapults and not much else..

as i mentioned in a different thread, numbers wise, yeah it would SEEM like its all about the catapults, but in reality its not at all. catapults have the largest number of perks, but the actual impact from the update comes from relatively few perks and how they can be used. the five or so major perks from winona make wormwoods major perks look tame by comparison. having mostly catapult for filler isn't a big deal.

still not as bad as wolfgangs 5 point fillers and 3 point alignments. Sure they are strong, but its just kinda bland

yeah, wolfgangs tree isnt my favorite. at least winona's "number go up" perks are SOMEWHAT interesting. like catapult aoe size is a pretty nice unconventional stat to improve, i wasnt expecting it, but i like that its here.

I cant understand why they have this actitud towards skill trees for strong characters. Less when they are buffing every character to their level...

Wolfgang has boring skill tree that is unfriendly for new players (i though the trees were to help new players) while Wolfgang’s perk doesnt work with rift gear.

Is like "this character has x2 damage but not in late game because we added a dish that increase too much his damage so instead of balancing it we make a overcomplicated bunch of mechanics and add flat damage buffs to compensate" is funny to see how they added the flat damage planar buffs to wolfgang instead of changing volt goat jelly to give a flat damage buff ( changing the maths so it doesnt multiply the damage already being multiplied), is starting to build a house from the roof
