ShadowDuelist
I still think the Archaic Boats should be bigger, at least 2x the size of normal boats (if larger, even better). Or get a new type of large ship. Pros: You can build more stuff in them With the increased HP + CK bumpers you can invest into more expensive building in it, since it's safer than a regular wood boat. We can still use shark boi boots for long distance travelling We could place cannons in it and have room for other stuff Maybe we could dock regular sized boats attached with magnets (in a way that they don't bounce against the larger boat all the time) to carry exit boats. During the discovery age, most really large ships had smaller boats to reach the shore. Rudders would make more sense to have in a larger ship. More space for fighting powder monkeys Cons: It may be harder to maneuver, specially in narrow passages Given it's larger and to make physics make more sense, it could be slower If it's heavier, maybe we shouldn't be able to move it rowing. Wavy Jones will have a ton of stuff to play with. Despite it's large durability, If you still sink it, you may mourn for a week. loopuleasa
The circle boat design space has room for future updates. Having ancient boat be standard size + storage is a fine addition for now. Some large late game boat fortresses might make an appearance.
