I wish for bug food group to come to DST, it's count as goodie, since Wurt can eat bug, and bug is technically meat so Wigfrid can eat them too. Wurt also lose no sanity or health from eating bug.

Bean Bug can be found in infested belly bush.

Veggie Feijoada: 3 Bean Bug, 1 Pepper.

Hunger: 60 Health: 25 Sanity: 25

Spoil: 10 days

Gummy Slug can be found in infested boulder.

Gummy Cake: 1 Gummy Slug, 1 Sweetener.

Hunger: 150 Health: -3 Sanity: -5.

Cooking time: 40 second.

Spoil: 20 days.

Rice Lice can be found on infested beefalo.

Fried Rice: 2 Rice Lice, 1 Egg, 1 Carrot.

Hunger: 30 Health: 10 Sanity: 30

Cooking time: 20 second.

Spoil: 20 days.

Praying Lotus can be found in infested pond.

Lotus Stir Fry: 1 Praying Lotus, 2 veggie, 1 pepper.

Hunger: 10 Health: 5 Sanity: 20

Cooking time: 5 second.

Spoil: 14 days.

Chocoroach can be found on infested poop.

Chocolate Milk: 3 Chocoroach, 1 dairy.

Tea Cicadas can be found in infested trees.

Spring Tea: 1 Tea Cicadas, 2 ice, 1 milk.

Hunger: 5 Health: 20 Sanity: 20

Cooking time: 15 second.

Spoil: 30 days.

You can also make Bug Farm, which is like mushroom farm, but you need to feed the bug with their unique bug food every 2 days, or else they won't grow. 

There're 5 stage, the bug will grow a stage every 2 days, each stage produce 1 bug of that type.
