Back Slot

Firstly I want this to be a thread dedicated to exploring the idea of this suggestion not to be derailed by arguing that the game doesn't need it. So please if you don't like the idea move on, any posts that are dismissive will be reported.

This is one of those time old discussions with Don't Starve of the "backpack slot". In a previous suggestion I advocated for a backpack slot to be added with the provision that certain chest slot items like log suits or the hibearnation vest owing to their value and general design would be too OP to be combined with a backpack and that wearing them should unequip any back slot items.

I'd like to open an ongoing discussion about possible additional items that could be worn as a "back slot" item but it doesn't explicitly have to be backpacks, for example Walter's portable tent could be equipable on his back purely for visual/saving inventory space having no benefit besides not carrying it in his pockets, or maybe function as a 3 slot backpack. I'm also interested to hear possible balancing for existing items with a back slot system, perhaps the piggyback could be cumbersome enough to disallow chest slot items as a secondary trade off for the extra inventory space.

I'll begin with a suggestion or two
   Miners Rucksack

• Inventory space somewhere between a backpack and the piggyback
• 10% movement penalty
• Cannot be worn with chest slot items
• has a special slot for "lights" that can accept torches, willows lighter, lanterns etc which allows for hands and head free light

   Pack-A-Volt

• Back Slot item with no inventory
• Can be worn with compatible chest slot items
• Draws lightning strikes to players wearing it
• Does not function if wearing lightning insulating clothes
• Provides electric damage modifier for a short time after being struck
• does not protect the player from lightning damage
• cannot draw lightning when in range of a lightning rod but can draw charge from a charged rod
• being too wet discharges the pack causing more electric damage to the player
• WX can draw stored charge from the pack
• Uses voltgoat horns for crafting
