Static Scriber - An item which increases Winona's mobility and uniqueness

Can be learned by using the Calibrated Perceiver on a Grommet Scriber, found in a Tier 1 Wagstaff Cache Box

When used on a Generator or G.E.M.erator, it will phase the structure and all machines it power into static.

Winona can then use it again to materialize all structures saved by the Static Scriber. Each use consumes 50% of the device's power, and the device is disabled when below 50% power. Static Scribers have a shared cooldown of 8 seconds.

This will directly improve Winona's status as a "non-swap character" in 3 ways:

1 - By allowing Winona to translocate setups, she can use them for more "menial" tasks like killing hound waves. While she can already dedicate 3 inventory slots to a Shadow Generator and 2 Catapults in order to deal with most menial threats (like Depths Worms and the such), this will increase the viability of the "Mobile Winona" playstyle and differentiate her from a "non-swap swap character" picked to "run farms" which she was previously.

2 - This will "reduce" the amount of time-cost Winona has to spend to lug around catapults, allowing Winona players to play with less set-up time, in shorter games (like public servers)

3 - This allows Winona to support some otherwise-unsupportable fights, like Nightmare Werepig and Ancient Guardian, albeit at a relatively high risk akin to using a Beefalo against them. However, Winonas who can use this to their advantage will be differentiated from low-skill Winonas.

Note that this playstyle is already possible. Dedicating 3 inventory slots for machines is, with good inventory management, absolutely worth it in some cases as a Winona. The purpose of this item is to streamline this particular playstyle in order to better fit the "flow" of a DST multiplayer server.

Additionally, this item will also cause Winona to be superior than the previous "swap to catapults" or "swap to use farms" playstyle. It will allow Klei to re-introduce previous catapult usage without compromising on Winona's uniqueness as a character. Winona being on the field will be able to bring a "miniature base" with her, improving her uniqueness as a character and defining her active role among the Don't Starve cast.

Finally, the existence of this item allows Klei to add niche, Winona-exclusive structures which are designed to be packed up and brought along. This alone is a Heatlamp and Teleporter buff, as it allows Winona to "save" herself or create "temporary" waypoints to quickly bypass dangerous situations. Additional "utility" structures might include an electric car for quick on-the-go item collection with WINBOT, or a gadget chest which allows Winona to store various bits and bops.

A concern with this item would be that it would allow Winona to bring her entire 9-catapult setup anywhere. However, in order for it to work, Winona has to find a space large enough to place a 9-catapult setup. Due to general world litter, the 9-pult setup would be not as effective, as it would be significantly harder to deploy than 2-3 catapult setups.

Lore-wise, Wagstaff is a character notorious for teleportation and transferring items from the "real world" to the "constant" - and the other way round. The catapults will presumably will be stored in Wagstaff's warehouse and transported to the field, using the same "projector" technology Wagstaff uses to access the constant.

Gameplay wise, it's Winona. Maxwell summons shadows to do his bidding, Wickerbottom reads books, Walter shoots things with his slingshot, Wortox soul hops across the entire map, Willow lunar flames every mob, and Winona builds sentry, and puts a dispenser here. That's what she do.

You can already pack a mini setup with you as you go along. I predict people will play with this exact playstyle once the patch comes out anyway. This just makes it easier.

Bundling wraps do not preserve position data, and are hence cumbersome to use.

Sometimes simple is best I think it'd just be easier to give her a toolbox with 6 slots within 1 inventory slot.
