Ardcrumb
I'm in a part of the community that actually likes the sailing in dst, a thousand people have mentioned the issues prevalent in the content currently in the game, but I think I've identified two issues that I'd like to mention. 1: the only reason to participate in ocean content, ie. Moon Quay; is to make ocean content easier, or to make things on the ocean more worth doing, like with cannons, masts, and other upgrades. 2: the ocean is a transition area, there isn't much in the actual ocean itself, with the exceptions of the waterlogged and salt formations. But these are the exceptions; in its current state, most of the ocean is sea stacks and open water, compare that to the land, with a *lot* more to see and find as you walk. What I'm trying to say is, ocean content is distinct from the base don't starve experience, it's an addition, not a key part of surface living, which i think it should be. I could say something extreme like fragmenting the main continent, but that would bring a lot of issues; so I'd like to ask you all. How would you close the difference between ocean and land?
