Man this is funny, I spent the past 2 or 3 months before the announcement of these skill trees mostly "maining" Winona, because I wanted to give her a try as not only a switch character. I play in a dedicated endless server with occasional resets so, shes a really handy character in those runs. So I guess im going to stick with her a lot more lol

That said Im loving this skill tree, its really solid, from what I have been testing myself:

- Gives the catas a nice buff in speed, damage, special attacks, etc.

- Spotlights are really good right now, it only activates at night, barely wastes any energy, gives heat, and a big area of light.

- Theres a lot of "QoL" thats added, like the generators not wasting energy while on sleep mode, lasting more, etc.

- Charlie's lenses are crazy, it can give you pure horror or nightmare fuel for free, and it has some interesting mechanics (you can revive by "examining" a flower and transforming it to a rose, tp to any wormhole, but theres probably more).

-Haven't tested much of Wagstaff lenses (I think the minigame isnt done yet or I dont understand it), but looks really interesting.

- Telepads are awesome, and the tele-umbrella even has good insulation, which is always nice lol

If i have to say something "bad" about this skill tree... Charlie's aligment is useless I guess? It says that "Charlie protects you", but from what I have tested it only makes you inmune to darkness, which is lame because, well, you aint seeing ****. It probably does something more though, idk.

 

TLDR: I love it, makes the character way more interesting, has lots of QoL, and improves all the things she already had in her kit.

You wear the rose goggles and examine a wormhole interact with the shadow effect and select a wormhole on map

Also i have not managed to get this second box in all my testing

This is the thing you need to get to get the rest of the wagstaff recipes, but actually i found out you can use it too to learn any recipe if you have the item before hand: 

If another player already have a dark sword but the shadow manipulator is broken, you can use the item on the darks sword  and you learn the recipe and can craft it anywhere

You can use it to learn any prototypable recipe

really nice can get bp like for bundling wrap when early autumn and no need to redo fight cus other want a napsack blueprint too ..

T2 shadow gives immunity to charlie attacks and goggles also allows to create a short vine bridge

Indeed but it's quite difficult to activate and it breaks quite fast

Bot nearly as stupid as being able to closely inspect a flower to get a free revive potentially twice per day IMO.

Seems like if you click the very edge its consistent, however the max I can go is 3 tiles, anything more doesn't work.

thats probably because the wrapped gift is distinct from a gift wrap. like how cooked meat is distinct from raw meat.

you can use raw meat on a drying rack, you cant use cooked meat.

You have to be sure there's a max of 3 tiles or less between the land, otherwise it won't work.

I was able to create a vine bridge with the shadow seeker 1 skill, so it might not require tier two after all!

The cap also seems to allow the bridge to spawn even if the last tile connects diagonally.
