Greystar
I feel that the fact that no matter what material I build my fish feeders out of they break in my "fish tank" Current setup is a 20x21 room made of glass, with 2 two rooms inside that are 8wide x 4tall the fish feeders are in the bottom and it has tube access (only way inside). Every time I reload the game the fish feeders break, this time I made them out of steel. The room (except for the room(s) in the center which are vacuums) is filled entirely with water. The issue is the fish feeders breaking every time I restart the game OR if I get a gulp fish which changes the water quantity in the "tank". I am just looking for a mod that makes it so Pressure does not break the fish feeders, whether it is by making them out of a specific material or just making them immune to pressure damage somehow. I have seen other "unbreakable" mods but they make everything unbreakable and I don't want that. I just want to "fix" the fish feeders. If there is anyone out there who is willing to make this mod, I would be much appreciated for it. Once the water has settled, and without gulp fish present, how much water is in the tiles directly adjacent to the feeder? The liquid volume of the tile below (tiles to the left and right are glass) is, 1149.1kg, however at the time they broke it was 919.(something). This was on this load and I'm waiting to see if (at the time of posting this answer and loading the game they start breaking again). About 3 seconds after load they started breaking again no new water added and definitely no gulp fish, because as soon as I see the eggs I remove them. At what pressure the feeder breaks seems to depend on the material, but not in the usual fashion depending on hardness. E.g. steel is a bit weaker than gold amalgam, but neither survives more than 6 or 7 tiles below the surface (~1060-1080 kg/tile). There's a bug report on their pressure susceptibility from the early acccess days, even; unacknowledged: So, in summary, a mod is probably the best option for your design. Sorry for the noise. Thanks for the reply, sorry I didn't get back sooner, but got frustrated with that "bug" making it so I couldn't build my fishtank the way I wanted it to.
