Rock lobster has been with us for 12 years, but since we can't transport them to the surface (together) they have been forgotten by many. With the "Terrors Below" update, snurtle has new functionality and I think that crustaceans cannot remain in the shadow of molluscs. So armored ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to the concept of shadow infiusion. The idea uses the familiar mechanics of Rock Lobsters eating rocks - but now you can feed them with rocks that are more DREADED. What does it do? Well at first almost nothing, the lobster starts producing red light, and gain negative senity aura. But after 10 days. The crab's body begins to mutate, causing it to become covered with a strange black stone. Shadow growth is a new item that you can use in Shadowcraft Plinth. You can "shave" the rock lobster with a pickaxe/smasher, another shadow growth will appear on its body in another 10 days. I haven't come up with specific uses for this material, but I'll be happy if you share your ideas in the comments Let's make Rock Lobsters great again! Would add an eerie vibe to the already existing rift content, i mean dreadstone growing from a creature? disturbing, love it! But I do think it should sometimes happen naturally with the option of feeding them dreadstone still available. Creative way to make a dreadstone farm which shouldn't be seen as an issue from the devs. This feature would obviously be an option AFTER activating rifts so the player already has plenty of dreadstone. After making both dreadstone armor pieces and a shadowcraft plinth all that you're left with is decorating with walls and collumns. And you might think that it would be a nightmare fuel farm using wilsons transmutation, but rifts are already a great source of nightmare fuel.
