Ancient Boat Idea

Finding large amounts of treasure in the ocean requires a fully functional boat, and by the time players get something from the treasure, they often have already invested a lot of resources and effort in their ship. Such as the necessary winch, one or two structures, a few chest or even full set of nautical gears.

If the player found at this point that they need switch to a new boat, all these things either need to be destroyed and moved, or they need to be abandoned altogether. That‘s a little bit... hurt.

 

Therefore, I hope the Ancient Boat can become a "upgrade kit", (works like Deck Illuminator and Lightning Conductor) which can upgrade ordinary wooden boat to ancient boat. Then we don't have to make a difficult choice between a new boat and old one.

I think it has been done for allowed players repair boats health? Only select the boat when you select the wood in the inventory.

Just make them working in the same way.

Good idea. I hope that we could get a pirate ship the same way. Since the monkeys have marked the rocks nearby the moonquay with the yellow paints that looks the same with the ones on their pirate ships now, I hope that's not limited to pirate monkeys only. We could get a blueprint through the queen like other moonquay blueprints. Craft the paints with bananas and something else maybe and paint it on the boat to transform it into a pirate one. It's a pity that we can't have a boat with the appearance used in the game.

And maybe somehow we could have a boat with the appearance of the Marotter's nest? 

Oh, what I've been talking is different from what you have emphasized. Anyway it is a brilliant idea with many potentials! I hope we could get all the boat appearances that are not applied as skins this way.
