is it ok to create post to open commission?

Just want to ask to make sure,
I created a post for opening a mod commission work service, from me and my friend. i posted it on "[Don't Starve Together] Mods and Tools"
but my post was not approved (maybe filtered out or blocked by the moderator). but I don't get any notification of why my post is not approved.

so just wanted to make sure I didn't break any rules, is there a specific step for people to open a commission? because I saw other mod's commissions post.

I didn't approve those posts because you have no post history. I think that if you want to post that you are accepting commissions without links outside of the forum and engage with people on this forum, I will allow that. 

However, just posting an advertisement is against forum policies.

ah, thank you so much for the clarification.. yes I am never really active on forums, just a lurker XD
and the link I posted was a link to my dst steam community/mod pages. sorry, will remove the link and repost them
