Rework moon stone event

Is boring and really unbalanced.

If you try to do it legit, by defending the stone, you either waste a lot of resources or you fail since the moon base falls really quick and the enemies hit it very fast

What a huge mayority of people does is to simply cheese the AI pathfinding so the content is basically standing still afk until the stave is transformed. Not the funnier content if you ask me

I think there is room to improve this even into a fun "defend the objetive" minigame like wagstaff's experiment during moon storms pre rift content (BS helmet needs a nerf)

I completed this event by treating it like rats inside a hedge maze-

While that is a fun and completely valid strategy to use…

I do still completely agree with you, the event itself could be far better.

Perhaps give the stone a health bar, and allow the player to repair it in between enemy waves..?

Playing State of Decay 2’s Daybreak mode makes me wish DST could get something similar, just a fast paced objective defense mode where you fend off waves and repair in between rounds.

Moon Staff event is the closest we get to that I think..
