What about cannons having a bad grind to reward ratio verse any of the ocean bosses? Boats are just really expensive to setup. Masts cost a million silk and boats in general cost a billizion boards. All that effort for a mostly empty ocean. Mike23Ua Posted May 2, 2024 Share Posted May 2, 2024 I deeply wish Klei would add like a Minecraft or Lego Fortnite Creative Mode into DST, since I’m not a PC player and can’t just install some cool Mod that adds such a Game Mode, I have to beg & plead for it to become Official. If such a mode was to ever exist I promise every single person on these forums that not only could I make the ocean a whole hell of a lot more interesting and not so empty, but I could also Re-Design outdated areas of the game with the newer content that has been added to the game since that old area had existed. As just a small example of what I’ve got cooking inside my brain- Imagine being able to resize Moon Quay Island so that it’s roughly as big as your standard swamp or forest shard, everything you would expect to find on Moon Quay exists on this island, but also some OLDER or NEWER content update stuff would equally exist on this same island, such as Ponds that you find on main land, except the ones here could naturally spawn the more late game Moonblight frogs And boom just like that I’ve created a Sandy Egyptian themed biome with cursed frogs. Id also add some of pearls Shell bells, and some of Lunar Islands Sea Anenemys for extra atmosphere & for a small touch of unique weather, I’d go with Moose Goose or the Weather Pains small tornado spins to make like little Sandy dust devils with. If such a creative tool was to ever be added to DST I would make it my personal mission to show the world just how much prettier the game world of DST Could be, using only the content and animations that exists that’s already in the game. You could create so so soooo many unique set pieces out of what’s already in the game, such as for example putting one of the newer half eatten Koalephant carcasses on a tiny island, and have it being circled by 2 or 3 RockJaw sharks. I haven't ever played Ocean content because I'm still fairly new to the game despite owing it for a few years now... I have like, less than 20h played or something. And I have weak opinions about Skill Tress too! ...
