Renato59
I decided to ask a few friends what they thought about some skill abilities for Winona, and I decided to organize the abilities again and even be more specific: Winona's Tools Level One: Upgrading this will let Winona use her tape to repair alchemy tier weapons and armour such as: The repairs can't be over 60% and when trying to repair them at 60% Winona will say a phrase like "More tape ain't gonna repair this". Level Two: Upgrading this will let Winona use her tape to grant one more use to the following things: In addition she can now use her tape to fix the walls shown and heal her turrets faster (75 hp each tape): Level One: Winona learns how to craft a toolbox where she can keep three tools in, but those cannot be repeated in your inventory, they can be repeated in the toolbox though. x2 x1 x2 Level Two: Winona learns how to craft her working hazard clothes so she feels safe working, this clothes grant 50% armor, 100% wetness protection, 75% extra damage with any non-magical weapon when close to a turret or generator, can only by dressed by Winona. x1 x1 x2 Winona's Turrets Level One: Winona learns how to create a Rapid Fire turret with 250 hp and 24 damage, the first attack will take 2 seconds to start and the next one will take 1.2 seconds, if the turret shots the same target three times the fire rate will be set as 0.8 seconds, this turret is meant for damage to a single enemy and will struggle against hordes of enemies. x3 x6 x2 x2 Level Two: Winona learns how to craft an electric turret called Tesla, with 350 hp and 100 damage each 3 seconds, however this will deal less damage if more than one enemy is in range, the attack will damage 45 to each enemy in range, since its electrical, it gains a 1.5x modifier damage to wet enemies. x4 x3 x2 x8 x2 x1 Level Three: Winona mastered her last invention, W.E.D.O.M. (Walking Effective, with Defense and Offence Machine) turret that has 300 base hp, and deals 10 base damage and has 6 movement speed, however it can be upgraded and can be equipped with helmets, will heal with time, faster if closer to a generator. x6 x2 x2 x1 -Upgrades are in game and require materials First W.E.D.O.M upgrade: It has 6.8 movement speed. x3 x1 x4 Second W.E.D.O.M upgrade: It has 36 damage and 10 extra planar damage. x1 x1 x2 x2 Third W.E.D.O.M upgrade: It has 500 hp and 10 planar defense. x1 x1 x4 Winona's Passive abilities Level One: When this skill is learned Winona is motivated to work harder, her ability to craft faster does not make her hungry. Level Two: Winona remembers the good lunchtimes she had at work, with this skill she now works double faster when her hunger is above 50%. Level Three: Winona's time in the constant have taught her a trick or two or maybe three, she will not receive damage from her sister instead she will receive a sanity penalty of 30 sanity every time darkness hit her, if Winona has zero sanity the penalty will be transferred as 30 hunger, when hunger reaches zero, Winona will still avoid 20% of the damage. Shadow Alignment Level One: The Shadow Queen will reward her sister with shadow empathy, her sister will provide her help letting Winona move her turrets from place using her inventory slots where she can carry her turrets and generators, backpack can't be used to save turrets. Level Two: The Shadow Queen will reward her sister with shadow technology, now she can build a Shadow Generator that will last for ever and has a bigger range for turrets. x4 x3 x3 x2 x2 Lunar alignment First Level: The Cryptic Founder will reward Winona with true vision, her turrets can see shadow creatures and will attack them even if Winona's allies see them. Second Level: The Cryptic Founder will reward Winona with gems knowledge, her Turrets now will be charged depending on which gem the G.E.Merator has been charged with. Red Gems have an increased damage of 16% against Ice enemies. Blue Gems have an increased damage of 16% against Fire enemies. Purple Gems have an increased damage of 18% against Shadow Aligned Creatures. Orange Gems have an increased damage of 18% against Lunar Aligned Creatures. Yellow Gems have an increased damage of 20% against giants (Treeguards, Deerclops, Antlion, Bearger, Eye of Terror, Lord of The Fruit Flies, Vargs, Spider Queen, Moose/Goose, Malbatross). Green Gems have an increased damage of 20% against bosses (Bee Queen, Dragonfly, Klaus, Crab King, Toadstool, Ancient Guardian, Ancient Fuel Weaver, Nightmare Werepig, Celestial Champion). Personal Opinion: I tried to make Winona a more useful character in terms of a support character who's not meant to fight, at least no without her principal mechanic which is turrets, I created the rapid fire turret thinking of boss fights where the turrets could be great as extra damage, and I created Teslas thinking about spring and the Ocean where enemies could be electrocuted easily, I also made the Lunar and Shadow Alignments kind of late game, where using the Shadow Alignment provides you the ability to not use extra materials and the Lunar Alignment for extra farming, I did W.E.D.O.M thinking of a mid game turret that could provide help without a generator and could move and attack as an npc, kind of a pig but upgradable, also the toolbox and Winona's Hazard clothes are meant for exploring and fighting respectively. Remember this is just an idea, nothing here is professional, and I only wanted to let people know how I feel it could be cool to play Winona, a character that in my opinion is boring and needs a skill tree or a rework. Any question or idea is welcomed! Edited March 26 by Renato59 1
Dr.Webber
It would be cool if the shadow generator generated loyal shadows also shouldn’t the alinements be more reflective of each other why pick orange gems in particular fight against lunar aligned enemies why not switch, yellow and orange since purple and yellow are opposite colors on the color wheel? Oh hey did you delete your previous topic? I saw that you quoted me but to see what you said, so what did you say?
