Pets can be released at any time and replaced with other types of pets

3. Sweet can help farmers accelerate the growth rate of plants

Adopting a pet does not require the construction of a dedicated "critic feeder" or other facilities in a specific room

In addition, a new room system needs to be built in the base: a private bedroom room containing pets, apartment facilities, and a "critic feeder". After the owner enters and puts down their pet, they go to bed. The pet first goes to the "critic feeder" to eat, and then strolls around the room. When the owner goes out, they crawl into their pet backpack to follow the owner.

I`d like to see caged shinebugs being like canary birds where dupes carry them around for light and decor. I can imagine them having to feed them during downtime and keeping the cage next to them when working. At night they could cover the cage so the light doesn`t bother them while sleeping. It would be a permanent lit area buff for them at the cost of needing to care for the creature.

Maybe the dupes could carry a hatch or a pip on their heads which they could pet form time to time giving them a temporary stat bonus but knowing the critters they might occasionally run away.
