Can I force Duplicants to take shower only in the morning?

Dear all,

Currently due to random events they are constantly showering in the evening (after eat, before sleep, in their free time) and not shower in scheduled timeframe in the morning.
It matters for me due to setup of my base and I want them to shower only in the morning. Can I do it?

Uh, the easiest way to prohibit duplicants from showering at other times would be using a pair of doors: one door always lets dupes out only using door restrictions, the other is controlled by automation and only opens during the morning so dupes can get in.

There are some other manipulations which can be tried. Showering can be done as a Bathtime activity with lower priority than pooping, it can also be done as a Downtime activity with lower priority than any recreation building other than Watercooler. So if you ensure there's an ample supply of better quality recreation buildings then dupes shouldn't ever shower during downtime and will only shower during bathtime.

The whole recreation building usage priority thing is complicated, but basically each building exists in a priority tier of which their are 5, with Shower being the 4th tier and watercooler the 5th. While dupes prefer a building from a higher tier, they won't use a recreation building they already have the buff for unless there is literally no recreation building they don't have the buff for, hence rec buildings with long duration buffs aren't very good as "blockers", but if you provide the Arcade Cabinet, Jukebot, Mechanical Surfboard(s) and Sauna(s) these all provide a 3.95 cycle buff and dupes can cycle between them, and these buildings either have 15s or 30s usage time so don't interfere with schedule too much.

So basically if you want dupes to use recreation buildings, go with that approach. Otherwise limit access with doors.

Ok, I got it. I was thinking about the door restriction but I also thought this is too much for such a simple task as showering.
Ultimately I will give them enough recreations to block their free time but now I will go with locking door. Fortunately my setup is already prepared for this scenario.
