They should probably still produce pO2 and eat either polluted dirt (but with a better conversion ratio than the sublimation station) or algae (which would synergise well with pufts since the slime they produced can be distilled and turned into algae). Also with the new bio bots it seems like they might intorduce new morb types based on different germs.
