Im a bit confused

1) So there is no beggining cutscene for me - I just start the game in the forest and Fox tells me that we were hit by the Treeak

2) I can't seem to find the weaponsmith at all. On my first playthrough of the beta I killed mother treeak on the very first run. I found the blacksmith on the second run in the lvl 1 frenzy. Then I went on multiple runs both in the regular and windy forests and didn't come across the weaponsmith. On the second playthrough I let yammo kill me on my first run and mother treeak on the 2nd. On the 3rd I found the blacksmith but she was glitched and softlocked me.

3) The blacksmith no longer allows me to craft armor, only upgrade what I bought at the picnic basket

4) The bog didn't get unclocked after beating the Owlitzer

5) Interrupting an enemy when they are about the perform an attack (say, using the spears default special while Zucco is screaming) will lead to the enemy immediately attacking after the interruption wears off

Is this how it's supposed to be? I was playing solo btw

I'm assuming this demo is continuing off where the last playtest ended, with only the blacksmith being the only NPC that can be found in the hunts at the moment.

This is how Klei reworked armor in the last playtest, you have to buy it at the shop (picnic basket) then bring it to the blacksmith for it to be upgraded. This is like how pants were recently introduced into the armor pool as they weren't there before.

Klei mentioned on their announcement post that there would only be 2 hunts this demo. I assume its to condense the demo so it wouldn't be too long, along with Nocturnal Grove working as a nice transition from the first area by enhancing on previous features and continuing with previous enemies.

I think this may be intended, for unless you Zucco on the ground the slight interruption wouldn't stop him for long.

Yeah I've had this happen to me as well, I thought I accidently skipped it. I'm glad to hear its not just an issue for me.
