There's currently an issue with most usage-based items is that they don't last very long and even late in the game you'd still have to constantly carry items to repair them, both taking up precious inventory space and forcing you to refuel them every now and then. At the same time as game progresses you amass a lot of stuff you'll likely never use. That overabundance of something can be turned into convenience.

My idea is to introduce an item (let's call it infinitizer kit for now, this could be a future boss drop or additional use for an existing one, such as for spark ark) which can be applied to any breakable item. Upon applying the kit to said item it turns it into "dead" state where it can no longer be used, sharing same behavior and appearance with broken brightshade/void equipment.

In this state it will have to be repaired with same stuff it normally would, except for repairable/refuelable items it would require 100 times the capacity of original items (original item's absolute remaining usage value would be carried over). Non-repairable items could still be repaired using other instances of said item (taking into account their durability) but their requirement might be lowered depending on original item's rarity - 10 bee queen crowns would suffice, while 100 moon axes still sound reasonable.

When fully fueled it becomes usable again under the same prefab name (maintaining skin compatibility) with its durability component removed so the item can be used indefinitely.
