BalkanCockroach Posted December 20, 2023 Share Posted December 20, 2023 Why do shadow creatures attack you in the Fuelweaver fight when you're insane? And why can FW use a Shadow watcher to stun you? THEY ARE ON OPPOSING SIDES EVEN IF THEY ARE BOTH SHADOW CREATURES. IF CHARLIE WANTS US TO ACTIVATE THE GATEWAY THEN WHY ACTIVELY TRY TO STOP US FROM DOING SO!!! I know it's gameplay elements and all but figured i should point this out. Edit: It's fuels shadow powers plus bone helm. Also he's the ancient leader, and all the shadows are ancient people, make sense for then to follow fw. E.g. in Hamlet ants were sane but in order to understand them player might do some reserach and collect a relic. So it's clear there is differencec in langugages between species however we can understand those. Who tought them? Were they humans once upon a time? Also it's unclear about clockworks. They represent chess pieces so they also came from the Earth, If Maxwell created them, why he doesn't have knowledge how to do that again? And his book, he found it, so it was created by someone before he even found the throne. Also what about all trinkets found, there are a lot of toys - where are they from? They are definitely not centepide toys, so ancient civilization should be of human kind... According to some of his quotes, he used to have builders who built the clockworks for him. I've made an entire thread dedicated to that if you wanna see the conclusion we came to check it out everyone had different interpretations of it. You can choose which one makes sense to you or add a different idea. He simply insinuates that he plagiarised from some older designs. Plus he definetly redesigned them cause the clockwork piles drop frazzled wires... And if the builders were his and ancients at the same time that would make maxwell the cane bearer which doesn't make sense cause cane bearer is definetly FW. And pointing out that they were dangerous and we must stop. Charlie is a servant of them they definetly had the rough idea even back then. If the shadow creatures operate on a sort of hive mind, then it makes sense for both Fuelweaver and Charlie to have some sort of control over them, even if they are at odds with each other. The creatures willingly accepting Wilson as a replacement for Maxwell suggests they don't really care who the King is, just as long as there is one.
