JustAFlower
Many many many many times, my ps4 shat down because of lightning and electricity problems, and my 2000 days world is still fine, so my question is in the title. Is it possible to get a corrupted save ?
Kubicska
As someone who also plays on a Ps4 I can confirm that I too haven’t had any corrupted save files either …Can’t say the same for 3DS Terraria lol
Developer CharlesB Posted December 6, 2023 Developer Share Posted December 6, 2023 It is unfortunately possible to get a corrupted save, if something goes wrong while the game is in the midst of saving. It does keep a backup though, so in the event of data corruption you should see a popup informing you of the situation. If you get here, ALWAYS choose the "Restore Backup" option (this should be the default) and the game will do its best to use the backup to get you going again. There is always the possibility that your savedata doesn't have an automatic backup, or the backup somehow gets damaged as well. So if you have a world you're really attached to the best policy is either to periodically back it up to a USB thumb drive, or to the cloud if you have PSN+
chientrm
This happen all the time. Just remove the last saved day until it's no longer corrupted.
