squanter187
Was this changed? I recall buildings interacting with this entity.... now the use of pressure plate is .... none? i don't get it
pether
It never detected buildings, not since I play this game. Maybe there was a brief moment in early stages of EA and automation update beta, but I'm not even sure about that. So no, there is no change in that regard

pether
Yeah, dupes are detected and always were. Buildings are not.
blakemw
Buildings in general don't trigger pressure plates, but solid cells do. As such any building that contains solid cells but most notably Airlocks will trigger the pressure plate provided their cells are active (e.g. airlock is closed, farm tile hasn't had its cell destroyed by pressure damage or radbolt impacts)
