Is "Patch up" skill working as intended?

When testing, it looks like Bernie only regenerates hp when actively in combat. 

Is this the intended behavior? Cause if so, the regen speed even with 2 skills unlocked seems really negligible.

I would rather slower but constant healing at all times.

i didnt tested much this but i noticed he regenerates outside of combat too

hm, I must do further tests then, perhaps one of my mods could interfere in some way.

i just dropped him at 16%, equiped purple amulet for few seconds and picked him again at 19%. Cant tell how much time was needed for that 3%

You can use brightshade bomb on Bernie to make it stay in a constant combat state.
