Asura_Dis
A few years ago I was thinking how cool it would be to have different ground levels in the game, like the old concepts did. I thought in every possible way how this could be done. But it wasn't until relatively recently that I discovered VFXEffect. Using this thing, Hornet and I made a mod that adds walls to caves! Here mod from steam: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2841637965&searchtext= Recently I started developing a mod that completely revises the logic of shadows and reflections in the game, as well as grass, using shaders and the same VFXEffect. And while I was trying to figure out all this stuff, I remembered that something have already been done by Fuffles, but i decided to dig it up by myself and find way to do same thing. (Here fuffles screenshot) After that, i remembered that ZarkLord was working on something similar for Island Adventures (flood system). I experimented with this, and got quite strong progress and results. The chance of different ground levels appearing is high. All I need is support and help with the code. I have knowledge, quite a lot, but it’s still not enough, and I need a couple of extra hands. I would be grateful if you help me, you can contact me on Discord: asuradiso. I would really appreciate your help in any kind! With shades, reflections, grass, elevation, etc. I just wanna create something extraordinary. Rickzzs
Do you have confidence the physics system actually supports altitudes? I know it is visually possible to build walls and slopes, but I doubt they can be true ground.

We still have y-axis not used, but it's working. so, for example, if u spawn boat at y by 10 - you will be able to walk on it

Marmalade
This post has sent me down a rabbit hole that I didn't even know existed, and now I would KILL a man just to see Fuffle's elevation concept fully implemented into this game, whether it be official or modded

A little bit off topic but, This looks amazing! Imagine an Insanity moster that attacks you if you stay too long near structures. Also, you made me realize that there is no confirmation from where the sun rises in the constant.
