Instead of 5x servers of 12 slots, can you make 2x servers of 24 slots each in Singapore?

There's usually only 1 Singapore server that matters. I'm very sorry to say it but other servers are kinda empty 24/7.

Meanwhile, 12 slots is not enough for Singapore gang.

We're SEA people, we love each other so much and always want to play together.

Don't worry about overloading, we usually remove all spider nests by winter.

Don't like to repeat it because I know some players may lack the necessary specs to in host a server but if your friend groups are more than 12 people, why not consider setting up your own server? Additionally, when discussing server context, excluding Australian servers with very little players, EU, US, and SEA servers still attract players during peak hours, such as weekends and nights. 8-12 slot servers are beneficial for newcomers testing out the game or those who wants to play in Autumn.

I think it’s a reasonable request if there is demand for it.

It’s not asking for more attention other than changing a number and maybe changing it back if it doesn’t work out (no one is playing on it because it lags/is unstable) unless there is a trial period for testing what number of servers with specific slots would be optimal for that region.

Here is what peak hours look like. I think 1 servers of 24 slots and 3 or 4 servers of 12 slots is nice 

Otherwise, that one 12/12 server will constantly get DDoS because of Auto-Join mod.

hmm i dont think so. the only one who use auto join is one of u herd of players.
many singapore server is empty because its left empty in middle of winter.
many players also search with for not empty server option. so its feel like people crowding one server, but actually people just want to join a server with existing player inside.
i went to empty singapore server and regen the world by dying after 2 days of surviving more and more of people joining the server. 
also usually not all singapore klei server shown its ping so some server is buried by ??? ping 
so on top of list is just one or two server.

Doesnt matter what reason (strangers, friends, groups...), if they want to play all in one server, why cant allow them?

i know u and ur groupies even made afk bots to keep server going. which is the thing that i dont want for a bigger group just trying to monopoly klei server. 
if you find ur group already and all want to play in one server, just go and make ur own server.
or if insist to do in public then u dont get the slot just move to another server. 
all i can see that full server will only reach that number for 18 days to 28 days and u will see less people. 

if u still insist to play with stranger, u can make your server public too . whitelist ur groupies id and make bigger slot.

Now you dont even need bot/mod to afk, people can afk standing still with all new features.

I have seen lots of group tried to host their own server, and they all slowly failed, because there are no new players join, and old players slowly stop playing. At some point, people just stop joining because, as you said

The different between klei hosted server and self hosted server is the amount of fresh new players who join. People want to hang out with new people too, not just one group all the time.

just reset to day 1 every now and then. so fresh new people joining, they tend to not join high count world  
having ur group whitelisted in server make its easier for them to rejoin that server without worrying about full slot too.

server slot is not a problem. the problem is many servers even klei official is buried by "???" ping problem. 
ur beloved fresh new player will join any server available on top of their list. 

having 2 server with 24 slot instead of more sever available will make newer players have to choose either play in this one server in middle of summer or the other one that surviving their first winter. 
while having 5 that can they choose to play from day 1 again.

yep still bitter. i was new player back then and all of sudden the server i played everyday got into massive git gud group that trying to keep sever going for long . but kicked one for being newbie, just because one of them said so. i was just walking around seeing what already build. one making idk some sort of trap with statue, and i while as always i want to know how to build this and that. walking around to see other structure made, asking this and that.. just cus i dont know what to do. then not long the vote against me that doing nothing but walking around?? damn im not even got answer why i was kicked  maybe one of their groupies want to join the server so they kick me ?

I dont think there anyone can give you that answer, sorry, impossible to remember why/how/who kicked anyone 3~4 years ago.

People who play in the same server dont belong to groupies, some play during first 100 days, some play during day 200~1000, for me, in that specific world that i afked (not sure if it the same world you got kicked, i dont remember meeting you, ever.) i only play during day 4500~10300. I do know and remember some people i played with, but i have no idea how that world was formed, how it was built, or how people treated people earlier than that. Even during when im afk, i have no much control of how people treated people during that time. After all, at the end of the day, even we played together, we're all just strangers.

Even me got kicked for stupid reason before, someone build a base in pk and leave (leave the game) during summer, so the base got abandoned, at the end of summer, people notice that base's pig houses is now charcoals, and start randomly kicking people around, including me and my friend who just chilling in cave the entire summer. Not only try hard kicked people, but even newbies kicked people too, and for whatever reason, i hope you have better dst experience now.

idk who in sever that time that vote against me but they have no reason to kick me out i didnt grief i just walk and ask people what they do and how then walk away to another places, unless its for freeing spot for another groupies.

i dont use this username on my steam account  i used to be using random name changed everytime i feel bored.

yes, while i have this really hateful with groupies that holding klei server on long run, or those heavily modded veteran that ruin rushing and flexing with all gear equipped /squat for a while and dc..  (there is also a guy who solo df but df have 20 days CD and its not bad can kill it again soon enough), i found other people who hate the guts of those guys who flexing when there is no need to flex in game like this. so we move and host our own server. finally have reason to go to cave when summer and experience it for first time because ruins is not fully looted in early autumn. we get to kill Dragon fly for winter time too. even no need to worry about gears early on because there is no random wigfrid that choose to battle all clockwork on land and keep gears all to himself. 

so i dont think klei server is meant for people with experience to flex. let it flow slowly so newer people can survive alongside and experience killing boss together. 
dont loot all just take what u need, no need to flex how many gear u got. just because u spawn with helm and spear. 
if u want ruins gear there is way to do that by clearing some spot of ruins but not all of them. 

let that new people experience things by asking them to fight along side of u. now i have thousands of hours of dst. if i join public server i will ask everyone to kill bosses even tho i can kill it faster by myself. so they can experience it and have it better to play later by themself because its not as scary at its seems.

and will still stand with server slot is doesnt matter. people need those empty server to have server fresh when they need to. just like offical server reset everyday cus they need to.
