make building a replica chair on pearls island doesnt give another friendship point?

When i was doing pearls tasks i build the replica chair on her island but i didnt get a friendship point. before i build it she was friendship level 9 (she sold the spectackler box). is there a required task i didnt do, or is it supposed to not give a friendship point?

i did:

1. plant 10 flowers
2. plant 8 berry bushes and fertilised them
3. put food on the racks
4. build her home
5. gave her a parasol
6. got the sea debris around her house
7. killed the lureplant in spring
8. i build the replica chair

shouldn't this equate to 10 friendship points and thus give me her pearl?

You have to do 10 Quests for her, it’s annoying and time consuming.. the chair still counts, but you listed only 8.. not 10.

They listed 10 tasks. Pearl's home counts as 3 tasks.

@Twp_pikmin You said you built the replica chair. Did you then make the sawhorse and make the wooden chair? The wooden chair is what counts as completing the quest.
