Pumking7 Posted September 30, 2023 Share Posted September 30, 2023 The Spark Ark which is required to craft any of the new lunar items from the Bright Smithy can only be used one time. This feels very discouraging to go and collect and use all of the new loot, due to a single Spark Ark taking at least an in-game year to collect (Having to wait out Deerclops/Bearger spawn time). It also means if you are playing on a team of multiple people that only one person can benefit from the new loot, which is very unfair (2 out of the 3 new crafts are more useful for a single person). I suggest the Spark Ark be used multiple times to craft the new loot, possibly 3-4 times would be fair. This would allow the new loot to be collected over time in a reasonable time-span, with everyone having a chance to get what they want eventually. What I mean by this is the Spark Ark wouldn't be consumed, instead its durability would go down. So crafting a Howlitzer would take 25-33% of a single Spark Ark, instead of consuming the entire item. daymarish Posted October 1, 2023 Share Posted October 1, 2023 Was looking to see if anyone posted a suggestion like this before I made one. I had this exact thought, with 3 times in mind. 33% consumed each time an item is made with it. It'd be nice since it's 1 item for each boss. I also think 2 times (50%) would still be an improvement over what we have, potentially letting 2 players get the item they want, as well as still forcing a single player to make a choice regarding which item to not craft the first time you acquire the Ark, which I guess is what they intended. But in my opinion, at least in the meantime while we don't have more mutated bosses we can fight, it should be more forgiving since at the moment it takes an entire year no matter what to acquire an Ark. They even already have the UI for consuming a certain % of an item with the Construction Amulet, though this would be a bit different. You can't destruct or hammer a new three loot to restore one. Please Klei change it!
