Is it possible to create a health bar for enemies

Recommended Posts

I’ve been playing DST on PlayStation for many years now and love the fights. I haven’t beat many of the bosses other than the basics. The anxiety and stress you get from not knowing if your attack has them close to finished or not. I wondering if Klei plan on adding something along these lines?
Example; A colored bar above the heads of the enemies or just a large bar across the top that adds to the hud that’s based off of last attacked would be helpful

A mod can help, but don't know if Klei will add this mod into game officially.

I don't think mods are an option for this person.

I don’t have any real suggestions but could you try mentally counting the hits in your head. So compared to the number of hits you need to defeat your enemy, to the hits you have struck, you can figure out how many more hits you need to defeat the enemy.

But, that may be pretty hard to do especially under pressure. Hope this helps

Actually a health bar &/or visual indicator of damage being done would be nice..

Dragonfly looks the same when she has full HP as she does when she’s 1 hit away from dying over dead.

I’ve actually “abandoned” fights not knowing how many more hits I needed to kill a boss, and I think seeing a health bar would help me to know if I should continue fighting or flee the area to save my own life.

The bosses who can Regenerate HP need this the MOST but it would in general be a nice QoL thing to have..

In a game like Borderlands 2, enemies looked more “hurt” when low health- like skags would wimper & limp around.

Why does a Beefalo who has been shaved have a more pitiful facial expression than one who is 1 bee sting away from dying over dead?

TL:DR- Health Bars &/or Visual indicators would be great!

Doing that for bosses would be impossible.
