712Dove
I just find out that liquid carbon dioxide doesn't count as sterile atmosphere. WHY
blakemw
The sterile/non-sterile is a bit random. But basically CO2, Chlorine and Hydrogen are sterile. Polluted Oxygen and Phosphorus Gas (for some bizarre reason) are polluted. No liquid is sterile or polluted even if you would expect them to be, so liquid chlorine is not sterile, polluted water is not polluted. With high temperature gases (lead gas, rock gas, salt gas etc) it's a complete and utter crapshoot whether they are sterile or normal. This is also why I call it "bizarre" that phosphorus gas is "polluted" because it got singled out for this among all the high temperature gases. 712Dove
At least the phosphorus gas makes more sense since it is, well, fertilizers in nature.

Some time ago, I did conserve some Sleet Wheat seeds in CO2 and cooled them with WWs. Found out I hat to add _heating_ to keep the CO2 from liquifying in order for the seeds to not rot. Primalflower
I believe natural gas also counts as pollution exposure? I cant remember
