Hot Take: Willow should of never been added to DST, and a Fire character will never work in DST

Yeah i agree bernie is doing most of the carrying in the dfly fight but not needing to worry about fire is a nice qol incase bernie dies or if bernie doesnt taunt correctly or fights larve too close to you.

Didnt know that is how to dodge klaus' fire spell. Im sure alot of people dont know either in which case Willow's fire immunity is great for us.

Aye the clockwork tactic is 100% viable but worrying about getting burnt is enough to annoy me into not doing this tactic as other characters.

I was doing all of this stuff while I was still pretty new to the game, it's a lot more about simply figuring it out what to do than it is about some executing some crazy key combo, a lot of this stuff is pretty easy to find out by simply messing around with godmode in a creative world

I was talking about her being damaged, chaotic and wanting the world to burn down.

We all know she loves fire and loves to burn things but we don't have enough evidence that she hates that world I feel.

Let me clarify.

Her lore animation was her alone in an orphanage (no family, friends or loved ones except a teddybear), tormented by physical manifestations of her nightmares trying to kill her, the adults meant to be taking care of her dismiss her fears and lock her in closets and ends with her burning down the only home she ever knew, with her caretakers inside and going to live on the streets. When next we see her she is an adult still clinging to her teddybear and now burning down a public library in populated urban areas which had at least one elderly person inside that she knew about, under the orders of a shadowy figure she didn't know. I'm not saying she's pure evil but these are not the makings of a well adjusted person. Saying Willow is damaged is not a headcanon.

Willow is decent as she is right now. She has a few minor and niche perks such as: having a back-up plan against overwhelming hordes of shadow creatures (which is especially useful in the ruins), being able to solo Dragonfly without walls or ice staves as a 1x dmg boost character (since big Bernie allows you not to get gangb***** by the minions during the lavae phase).

The fire immunity is practically useless, but if you have swag you can sit on a magma pool in a public server.

ALSO, NO: WILLOW CANNOT FARM SPIDERS AS EFFICIENTLY WENDY CAN (it falls into some kind of sunken cost fallacy if you want to aggressively mass farm spiders while mass producing sewing kits).

That’s it. Willow is a basic character, like Wilson. But I like her.
