Special foods with perks and old mechanic - food heat/cold

There a lot of recipes in the game, many are either useless or stay on top as best.

Some foods I feel that take most specific ingredients should have some sorts of perks, mainly thinking of something like Guacamole and it could give you +0.25 mining boost or being able to view rocks and minerals in the dark, figs could have sanity regeneration perks just like forgetmelot tea for how lategame and high effort the trees are to grow. Durians could make normal creatures want to stay away from you at longer range and monsters agro on you more.

There could be a quality tier to each food, ranging from poor, okay, exquisite foods that would have their own set of bonuses to add a comfort and effectiveness values to worn clothing or durability of some gear. It would not make much difference in gameplay unless you notice those changes much more than not.

Practically, food is DST's terraria potions in a way, with already some having perks and others not as much. One thing of a mechanic I don't like is "food heat" to which is really weird how it works. Insulated pack seems to slow the heat loss while ice box removes any heat really fast. I feel like there should be a structure over a campfire to keep food heated or having it near a fire to keep it toasty to have a reason there being actual reason behind that mechanic to want to use than not.
