Thornecrous Posted August 21, 2023 Share Posted August 21, 2023 Wortox's Triumphant skin is cool and one of it's kind (i mean that we will never get another shadow skin on him), but it's a shame that klei did it dirty. I can forgive some stylistic decisions, like the messiness of lines all around, but what i can't forgive is Why the linework on his profile sprites is so infinitely thinner than oh his front-facing ones? For a good example, let's compare it to the Wortox's default skin: The thickness of the line on his mouth and his cheekbones is exact same on both sprites Why then was it a good idea to make the triumphant skin that way? And finally, my own proposed fix of this issue for edgy Wortox mains like me to be at peace I left all the design elements exactly the same and changed only some parts of the linework of the sideways sprite it took basically 5 minutes for me to edit the image and it looks indinitely more better and consistent Thanks you all for reading my ramblings about funni pixel devil and have a good day, hyuyu! Kur0u Posted August 21, 2023 Share Posted August 21, 2023 The only thing I dislike about this Wortox skin is the nose, it fits on his Swashbuckler but not on this one in my opinion. It also happened to Wurt's Roseate (The axolotl) one time where they made her nose not crooked like normally and it just looks so uncanny. It looks too devilish to me but I ain't sure if normal Wortox nose would look any better... Maybe if it had thicker lines, easy fix if Klei deems it a bug.
