goblinball
It can be a bit difficult to get ppl to cooperate in pubs, especially new players, but there are ways to get ppl to stop ignoring you and cooperate with things I frequently refer to specific players with their usernames, instead of just saying “hey can anyone help me with x”. I’ve found this usually helps, especially when there’s a lot of new players just base sitting and not really paying attention. Newer players in general can require a lot of herding around, but I personally think it’s very fun and rewarding to try to help show and teach new things. I always try to get a first autumn dfly done on every pub I join, and I try to get as many newer players sitting around as I can in the fight to see how it goes and to help. Even for smaller tasks, I’ll sometimes ask random ppl base sitting “hey, would you like to help me do x thing?” And they usually say “sure” Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/150249-teamwork/page/2/#findComment-1658229 Share on other sites
Jandri
I don't like when other players give me orders, so I don't do it myself. I prefer to aks simple things and try to guess by myself what they need unless we have been talking about a specific goal before. If they do things that I think could have been done better, I tell them, but I keep playing with them unless I am sure they are trolls. Sometimes I try to give obvious clues but it doesn't work very well. For example I often tried to build a cartographer desk with a chest next to it, and in the chest some papyrus, pencils, and a map I made. Most player who read the map won't make a new one. How can you not figure out on your own that I wanted you to craft a map after reading mine guys? Also I noticed that many people that pass by a sign don't read it Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/150249-teamwork/page/2/#findComment-1658263 Share on other sites
