ShadowbirdRH
I mean, it's awesome that they made it possible to place on docks, but when they did so, they also gave a big boost to its capacity. It feels overkill, compromised. IIRC it was already the highest capacity food storage item in the game when it was a 12 slot item, did it really need to hold more than a Krampus Sack? goatt
I use it. And I think it's cool. The biggest pain point of ocean fish is how to get them. I'm pleased that storing them is smooth on boat or on dock. lowercase skye
Ocean fish are caught in large groups at a time and are at their most useful when you have a surplus of them. I think the tin fishin' bin is in a very good place that makes sense with ocean fish mechanics. ShadowbirdRH
Yeah, I'm not saying that they're not great, just, you ever get the feeling that it's too much of a good thing, that it would be fairer and more satisfying to have to build two for that much space? Is the concept of effort for payoff dead, or is my perception of it just set at an atypical balance? Valase
at the same time that it is the biggest food storage, it holds the least amount of food of any, as fishes are not stackable. ShadowbirdRH
That is a very good point. The common ice box can hold 180 pumpkins, yet not even 10 of the smallest live fish. In that light, the tin fishin' bin's oversized slot count does seem more than fair given that nothing it can contain stacks. Oh no, fishing has a niche! loopuleasa
It's not the highest capacity food storage. Fishes don't stack. In a fridge you can store 40x9 = 360 food items Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/150222-would-anyone-complain-if-they-rolled-back-the-tin-fishin-bins-capacity/#findComment-1657792 Share on other sites
