Is there a way to remove insight points?

Hey guys, for some reason all the insight points I unlocked during the beta were transfered to this update. I was really looking forward to level up the skill tree from the beginning. Is there a way I can remove all my insight points so I can start the grind again?

There is no way to remove them, however, you can start your world with no skills and only unlock them when you'd normally get a new point. For example, you could unloco your first skill on day 5

the thing is i'm already at day 800 and I often swap characters  so there's no way that i could actually keep up with tracking time I spent playing only with wolfgang. I wish there was a cheat that could remove them

Hi! I have the same problem and i found this page.
But this command didn't help me to reset/remove insight points

ThePlayer.components.skilltreeupdater:AddSkillXP(-160)

It works when i want to Increase XP AddSkillXP(160), but not for Reduce AddSkillXP(-160)

Not at my pc atm but you can edit your skill tree save info from your documents its something like;

Documents > klei > dont starve together folder > client saves > skill tree. 

You need notepad ++ or a program similar to edit the file and reduce the 160 skill point level for each character back down to 0. You can also edit in whether the game thinks you have killed ancient fuelweaver or CC.

I know this is a month old but there's a workshop mod called reset insight. It lets you set insight to 0 in your own worlds and it carries over to other servers if you set it to 0

I found this file and delete all the contents.

Now i can use command and redistribute all skills in a new way.
