The Hardwood Hat is not a viable option. and needs to be adjusted.

With the arrival of the new update, the woodie character gained new abilities, one of them being the creation of a new helmet, the Hardwood Hat, the problem is that it is not a viable option, having only 70% protection and 210 durability.

I don't see why creating a new item if nobody is going to use it, my main argument for that is that with just two more wood and two ropes (absurdly easy resources to get) you get a much better item.

My suggestion is to increase its defense to 80% and durability to something like 315 similar to Log Suit, and slightly increase its cost to something like 7-8 wood and 3-4 pine cones.

I understand that the initial purpose of the item was to create a weaker but easier to build item, but I don't see anyone simply avoiding taking 6 grass and 2 wood to create a Log Suit that is much better.

Only under these conditions do I see this skill being used by most Woodie Players, as we need to remember that it is necessary to spend an inspiration point to learn this skill.

hrmi dont think that making it exactly the same thing as a football helmet is a good idea, making football helmets unnecessary (its durability is 315 and gives 80% defence). the whole thing about logsuits is that they take up the body slot, so you cant wear both a log suit and an amulet or backpack. plus its much cheaper than a log suit, 6 grass can be used for more important things

I find the hat really good in public server early game, as a woodie can make tons super-fast and place them at portal or the newly formed base, conserving pig skin by 50% (used for hambats), and reducing deaths, until later in the game where helmets are made for bosses or replaced by wig helms. very useful for 6+ people games. yeah its terrible when you play by yourself, but that's not what its built for.

If you're using it in conjunction with body armor it's pretty useful.

Since the armor value of the better armor is used the hardwood helmet can be used to extend the durability of most body armors by roughly 40% at the cost of cutting down a couple trees.

By itself I would have to agree that the helmet is not something I would use normally.

My silly man it's a item that you can craft from the start, and is a good option for early game fighting.
