Sure, many people have valid critiques, but as a whole the skill trees are a really great idea! They give a sense of progression for each character and makes different runs with the same character new and interesting depending on the skills you choose. Good job Klei and I can’t wait to see what the official release of the update is like

With the celestial portal and idols, every run with the same character will be very similar cuz you can change skill tree as you wish.

I'd say every run with different characters will also be similar since swap characters are popular in the community.

Those resource conversion skills are only remembered by players when using celestial portal, haha. It is difficult to understand how to make such abilities part of the skill tree.
