I hope you mean Mash-up pack, not Texture Pack.

Ill explain the difference, A Texture Pack only changes the look of blocks and mobs in Minecraft but it still plays like, Looks like, and follows the rules of Minecraft- Examples would be: Skyrim, Halo, Fallout 4 DLCs.

A Mash Up Pack changes the way the behavior of the game itself plays so it’s more like the game it’s Mashing up with then it does Minecraft, these usually come with a pre-built world (textures can too.. but there’s a massive difference) you’ll actually be able to morph into aliens, use cool bat gadgets or collect rings and bounce off springs, Examples of these type of packs would be Sonic the Hedgehog, Batman & Ben 10.

Becareful which one you say here on the forums, cause Klei may think we want the simply easy route Textures, rather than an actual gameplay changing Mash-Up so it looks, and plays more like Don’t Starve but in Minecraft Blockiness glory.

I want texture pack. But a mashup pack could be done aswell.

I prefer texture packs since it can be added across most versions unlike mashup packs. Also i can use the texture pack in regular game.

Another reason for team Texture pack is that Ds and Minecraft are similairish enough that a whole new custom "game" is not needed. I would absolutely love a Don't Starve styled Minecraft world.

it has been doing a lot of collab recently too

the easiest collab since they won't have any licensing problem
