ManiacMouse Posted April 14, 2023 Share Posted April 14, 2023 I love the addition of the supply closet with new aesthetics in the game so that I can make a good looking home for my duplicants (and a pleasure for my own eyes too, of course) without the use of mods. Having weekly drops really excited me and I've been looking forward to the drops every week so that I can add more looks and feelings to my builds. However, the disappointment is huge when you receive duplicates that appears to have no other use than times X being displayed in the GUI. Having x3 Camping Cots after 3 weeks of drops feels utterly useless when I could have received something that I could actually have use for and I guess it will take ages to gather all skins with only 3 given per week and this high rate of duplicates, especially if more skins are added in the future. Would be nice if the duplicates were removed or given a purpose. Perhaps we could be allowed to trade our duplicates on the webpage or over steam marketplace, or simply allow us to buy the skins we want using Klei Points or other means. Personally I really want to unlock more as soon as possible as I spend a lot of time playing this game right now. KLei, please lower the chance of duplicates and give the duplicates a purpose. The way it is now, its more a disappointment than excitement to open the weekly drops. Even better if we could trade X number of duplicates for an item of our choosing, like a 'pity' system. It is a pretty big bummer to get nothing of value and know nothing more will be coming for a week. Right now duplicates are going to happen more often because we don't have a lot of new skins. We're taking the skins pretty slow because we have a lot of stuff to work on, but we'll have more features as time goes on.
