CameoAppearance Posted April 3, 2023 Share Posted April 3, 2023 I don't know why you can't use bees that are already angry in a bee mine; I think if you capture killer bees you should be able to substitute them in the Bee Mine recipe. Currently you can neither craft anything with them nor calm them back down into normal bees after you catch them, so all you can do once you have one (it doesn't even have to be on purpose, the main time I catch killer bees is by accident while trying to capture a nearby non-killer bee) is kill it. Given the distinction, I'd think it'd require regular bees to make bee boxes and killer bees to make bee mines. Might just be more practical for killer bees to revert to regular upon being caught.
