rgduck
The disconnect tool is a huge QoL improvement, but IMO it's a bit too powerful. You no longer have to build switches; you can just disconnect and reconnect the power wires as needed. You can instantly rearrange circuits to deal with overloads and brownouts. This encourages a style of play that is heavy on micro-management heavy and light on dupe involvement, and IMO, it's kind of antithetical to the dupes-and-instructions paradigm that makes ONI special. I suggest instead allowing disconnect to be issued as an instruction, but requiring a dupe to actually come by and do the disconnecting. So you can still disconnect two pipes without having to deconstruct one and spill on the floor, but it doesn't happen instantly by the hand of god. I realize that instantly disconnecting pipes/wires is just the mirror of instantly connecting them, which already existed, but maybe that functionality was a bit OP too. Sanchozz
Yes. Let a certain skill be required for disconnecting - an Electrician, Plumber or Mechatronics. Because the Plumber skill is rarely used nowadays. And so it will become more useful.
